When most people hear that I work in fashion assumptions are made, and ideas are formed on what that might look like. So today I’d like to focus on some common misconceptions about what it’s like working in fashion.

So last night was arguably the most important night for fashion, the 2022 MET Gala. Several of Hollywood’s best knocked it out of the park, other tried their best, and some just said whatever.

Designers have taken to simplified menswear even more with the emergence of 2-piece sets. So let’s discuss how to capture the simplified chic look without over thinking. Let’s get into it!

As menswear evolves designers are using different methods and changing the concept of what is men’s fashion. This week I wanted to discuss 2 trends that are being heavily explored this year fluid tailoring and fluid fashion.

Another season another batch of trends to explore, designers are pulling inspirations from different artistic genres and decades to create some of the year’s latest trends. There are daring colours, risky features, and fabrics you’d never expect for Spring/Summer so 2022 is going to be an interesting one to watch.

It’s been a consistent theme throughout all the major runway presentations and has now made its presence in fast fashion retailers. I think many men would benefit from taking elements from it.
